On Friday, Winthrop Town Council President endorsed Jeffrey Turco for State Representative, 19th Suffolk District. The seat was vacated by former Speaker of the House Robert DeLeo and following a Special Election victory, Turco is the Democratic Nominee for the March 30th General Election.
“Jeff Turco is the one candidate in this race with the experience that the Town of Winthrop needs going forward,” said Phil Boncore, Winthrop Town Council President. “As the past President of the Winthrop Town Council, Jeff knows the needs of the Town of Winthrop. I’m sure that by being involved with the City of Revere, he will get to know very quickly the needs of the City of Revere. He is the ONLY candidate with experience in municipal government.
